Intresting photo ,

21 cm fieldgun from Bofors , one prototype tested i 1946 , but too heavy 33 x tons !!
It had two engines on the two trail legs .

Thanks a lot for your answer, ludvig. So, being only a protype gun, I suppose that the weapon did not get a M19xx model name...

Could you posted the main performance data here, ludvig ??
Maximum range, muzzle velocity, ....

Do you know if this gun was towed in only one load or disassembled in various loads ?

Any additional image will be wellcome

It is curious that the Swedish developed this gun, having bought in 1944 the model 21cm Skoda K39-41... :?

Hello Sturm78 ,
Sorry late answer
These 15,3 cm and 21 cm naval barreles were given new carriages and box shields and
mounted i open pits . But very soon they recceived a camouflage umbrella . But after 1945
these guns got a thin armour plates for " napalmskydd " ( skydd = protected ) . So there
a few photos of only the box - shields . Here is som info battery Hultungs at Gotland
island in Baltic Sea :

Hello Sturm78 ,
In post from 18.12.2016 J mentioned that 21 cm M/98 was placed at battery Söderam
but the correct battery is Hamnskär . The 3 x guns at Hamnskär were replaced from Svea
, Manligheten and one test gun from Bofors .

Thanks for your info, ludvig

I found on the web this other image (although of very poor quality :( ) of the 21cm Bofors gun of 1946.

Any additional info/image of this gun will be welcome...

Hello Sturm78 ,
The guns are 10,5 cm M/27-34 . The four 10,5 cm M/27 were modfied with new wheels
,front shield , muzzle brake and rebored gun barrels to take shells from the 10,5 cm
M/34 gun . Very rare to see photos of the orginal M/27 .

Thanks you very much for your help, one more time, ludvig

On the other hand, I have problems to identify the exact model of this Bofors AA gun. Any idea ?? First I thought an 76.2mm M/27 gun but this gun seems to have two recoil cylinders atop the barrel.... :?
