Belgian mobilisation and T 13s

Prior to the start of mobilisation the following units had T13s:
Chasseur Ardennais Regiments 1, 2 and 3…8 in each, total….24
Cycliste Frontiere battalion Limburg……………………………………..14
Cycliste Frontiere Regiments 1 and 2 between them had …….29

Total…………………………………………………………………………………….…67
note: Cycliste Frontiere Regiments 1 and 2 also had a total of 6 carden loyd vehicles

On mobilisation the following units were issued with T 13s
Between 28/8/39 and 22/9/39
Chasseur Ardennais Regiments 4, 5 and 6……2 in each……….6
PFN……………………………………………………………………………………..4

This gives the total of 83 (77 T 13 and 6 carden loyd) as listed in narwans post in viewtopic.php?f=12&t=116982.

No details are given as to the models of T 13 issued.

I have come across the following dated references to issuing of T13s:

18/9/39
PFN’s T 13 company formed using troops from active ChA regiments. 12 T13s delivered a month later.

25/9/39
IG, 1ChCh and 3L each receive 3 T13s. These came from the PFN T13 company and the 2nd Chasseur Ardennais Division and they were allocated to the Regiment’s 7th squadron. These squadrons then had 1 command T13 plus 3 platoons of 2 T15 and 1 T 13 each.

4/3/40
T 13 company 11th Infantry Division.
It seems to have never received more than 5 T 13

11/4/40
The divisional T13 squadrons of the 1st and 2nd Cavalry Divisions were dissolved. These were to be formed under Phase C of the mobilisation plan, 1/9/39.
The divisional T13 squadron of the 2nd Cavalry Division had never received any T13s.
The divisional T13 squadron of the 1st Cavalry Division had received 9. These vehicles were transferred to the 7th squadron the each of the 3 cavalry regiments in the division. This meant the 7th squadron now consisted of 1 T13 command vehicle and 3 platoons that included 2 T13 each for a total of 7 T 13 per squadron. ( note theses squadrons also had T15s)

10/5/50
T 13 company 12th Infantry division reported as forming. This unit had received no T13 by this date.

I have no exact dates for any other unit. It would be very interesting to know when the infantry Divisions formed their T13 companies and when they received their vehicles.

Note that prior to mobilisation only units that were positioned on the borders of Belgium had been equipped with their T 13s though by 22/8/39 the production order for 194 T13 BIIIs would have been virtually complete.
