April 1941 invasion of Yugoslavia

#1

Post by MarkoZ » 15 Dec 2013, 12:20

I have come across some brief references to stiff opposition to the Axis by units of the Royal army but can't find out anything more!
I am hoping that poster's such as Lt Colonel who works in the military museum in Belgrade might help.

No 1. 121st Anti Tank Company action at Markovec.
No 2. 1st Anti Armour company of the 46th Artillery Regt,Moravska Division.
No3. 3rd Battalion of the 38th Regt Zetska Division.
No4. 47th Regiment of the Vardar Division
No5. 3rd and 12th regiments of the Toplica Division in the area of Nisava.

Thanks in Anticipation

Seen a bit more info Zetska division was about to occupy Durres and had captured 1900 Italian prisoners before having to stop due to German Armour encroaching on their rear echelons.
