Belgian aircraft radios query

While discussing the Belgian Hawker Hurricane the site
http://kanyiko.deviantart.com/art/Hurri ... -445289897

includes the following quote
none of the Belgian aircraft were fitted with radio
The line up of Hurricanes shown below
H30.H24,H25, H37, H29 plus others schaffen-diest 1939.jpg
clearly shows radio masts on these aircraft.

However did any front line Belgian aircraft lack radios in May 1940?

Pics of Belgian Fairey Battles show radio masts but a brief look at pics of Renard R.31s, CR. 42s and Fairey Foxes reveals no obvious radio masts. Did they lack radios?

I think also that none of the Belgian aircrafts were fitted with wireless sets.
There was a possibility of a call between the pilot and his observator but there was no liaison from aircraft to aircraft, neither from aircraft to military personnel on the ground.
I think also that the radios where not installed into the "Hurricane" fighter aircrafts.
The radio mast was installed on the "Hurricane, but not the radio himself.
That's what I think.
Sorry for my poor english knowledge

Thanks for your comments Prosper

On 17 1 39 the prototype R36 crashed
http://www.airwar.ru/enc/fww2/r36.html
notes that a report by crash investigators on this crash put forward 2 possible causes.
One suggestion was that the radio interferred with the elevator controls.

The first flight of the R 36 was 5 11 37 but I do not know if it had the radio fitted at this stage.
