I need to find the book. Buried somewhere. I was watching a Military Channel bit on special operations and remembered the proposed mission.

I found out there were only three Italian ships interned in Portugal. I believe the vessel in question was in a portugeuse port.

Negative. I will dig around a bit for the book this weekend. I have a few on the SBS in WW2 and so hesitate to state it is the Ladd book.
