Czech defector from the RAF

#1

A Czech pilot named Augustin Preucil arrived in the UK in 1940 and joined the RAF. Then in 1941 he defected in a Hurricane fighter. After the war it emerged that he had certainly worked for German intelligence after his return in 1941 if not before. Does anyone perchance have any further information on Augustin Preucil.

Many Thanks

What is written about him here seems correct.
There is a lot of info here (A betrayal, Augustin Přeučil before the Special People's Court by Daniela Němečková), but in Czech.

Interestingly, according to Daniela Němečková, the court-ordered psychiatric assessment of Přeučil says he was a psychopath with IQ of 50-69 (mild mental retardation), adding he was vysoce diferencovaný debil (maybe: talented, idiot-savant). He was of a paranoid, touchy nature, had a tendency to intrigue and making false denunciations.
