The Ultimate War Prize - A rudder from the Bf-109F, with kill markings from one of the greatest Aces. original items usually don't exist, or aren't for sale, so we have accurately recreated a near identical rudder of one of Germany's top Aces, Heinrich Bartels, and one of the Luftwaffe's Top Guns. Bartels, a baker before Hitler came to power, finished with 99 kills before he himself was likely killed by Thunderbolt fighters, in December '44. This example shows part of the tally that Bartels scored on his way to the top. Full-size, completely fabric covered item, just as the original was. Hand painted, just like was done in the field by the squadron artist. It is an eye-popping item that would improve any collection. Price $799 (US)
