This extensive variety of different types must have been a Provisioner's nightmare. I think of Borgwards somewhat similar to the way I view Bruckner's symphonies: Fairly impressive in their totality but bloody tedious individually.

Hi Max,

I tend to liken Hansa-Lloyd/Borgwards to modern art. There often are multiple interpretations of HLB pics and it's up to the viewer to try and make some sense out of the bloody mess.

Sure looks like a Merkur to me and the six-bolt wheels point to an early model so logically could be an I (as if logic ever helped with bloody HLBs).

yes I agree with you about the 3 Tonner, but the superstructur is more like a radio-truck or charching battery truck.
