► Sd Kfz 250
► Sd Kfz 250
Hi,
Not sure if correctly panzerjagers, at least they are described so. The photo series shows, how the German vehichle is hit by Soviet anti-tank gun. The crew jump out and using abandoned soviet anti-tank gun destroy the Soviet gun, which before inmovilize them.

Re: Panzerjäger photos
Hello!
Best regards, Aleks
This thread deals with vehicles specially designed (or modified) to destroy tanks. Nevertheless, your photos are quite interesting.Arto O wrote:Not sure if correctly panzerjagers

Re: Panzerjäger photos
Hi AVV,
Your are correct, this section is to deal with vehicles, I forgot that. But is the correct name for these armoured vehicles "panzerjager"? Also reading the finnish text it said "panssari jaakarit" which I connect with this topic "panzerjager", and I thought that they could be interesting to AHF members. I try to think better next time.
With best regards
Arto

I am madly in love with that first photograph.Luftflotte2 (14 Nov 2016) wrote:source: ebay.de
It appears to be a different angle of this much more famous and available photograph of the same vehicle during the same operation. Is it safe to assume that photograph is probably lost to some private collection for all of eternity? I'd love a copy without the watermark.

Kampfhexen, your photograph isn't of an SdKfz 250 but of an SdKfz 253, although several 253 and 252 have crept into this thread.

Re: ► Sd Kfz 250
Oh, I'm aware. I just posted it in response to the same exact vehicle being posted earlier. I would personally feel they're similar enough to warrant inclusion, no?Alanmccoubrey wrote:Kampfhexen, your photograph isn't of an SdKfz 250 but of an SdKfz 253, although several 253 and 252 have crept into this thread.

Re: ► Sd Kfz 250
If you include a vehicle which isn't an SdKfz 250 thread then you should at least identify it as such or we will end up people wandering the world thinking that the 253 was just a version of the 250 when in fact it was in production before the 250.
