On the right of this picture from the Imperial War Museum (IWM) dated July 19, 1944, a destroyed 7,5 cm Pak 40/1 auf S.307(f) of the 21. Pz.Div. The caption identifies the vehicle on the left as a "Humber armoured car".

Re: Panzerjäger photos
Arto, the first one is the 15cm sIG33(sf) auf PzKpfw I B and it belongs to s.IG Kp. 704 which was subordinate to 5 Panzer Division in 1940/41. The second is the 7,5cm Pak 40/1 auf Geschützwagen Lorraine Schlepper(f) SdKfz 135, sadly I can't remember tp which Infanterie Division it belonged . No doubt someone will be good enough to tell us all.

Thanks for the identifications. I was thinking that the second was Lorraine Schlepper, but as my knowledge is poor in vehicles, so...

well, maybe i'm wrong, but in 1942,Alanmccoubrey wrote:Derka, surely that would be the 1.Kompanie and not Zug ?
the anti tank tactical symbol into an infantry unit was :
the motorization symbol was :
the difference between a motorized infantry Kp and Zug is illustrated here :
you could even add another symbol, like for mountain troops :
if added to infantry Kp/Zug, you have tis symbol :
so for an antitank mountain troops motorized Kp, you have this :
considering the lack of a larger section in the vertical part of the triangle, i think it is a Zug designation.

Derka, the Germans didn't mark their vehicles by Platoon but by Company, the number after the tactical sign is for the Company and not the platoon. You are correct that when marking a map it was necessary to differentiate between the platoon and company by the use of the thicker vertical line but it was seen less on vehicles.
