OOOPS!!!
Of course, CZ. I glanced at the original photo caption (ebay.pl) and just automatically typed in Poland.
Sorry.

This old timer would make a great quiz question if I knew the answer but unfortunately I haven't a clue!
Cheers,

Re: Photothread: German Red Cross Vehicles
Not exactly German Red Cross but interesting nonetheless. A CMP 3 tonner 4x4, either a beute or donated by occupation forces, in service of the Rescue Services (Rettungsdienst) in post-war Vienna.

Very interesting pic, Markus. Thanks for posting this. I've never seen a captured 1937 American Ford tractor before, let alone one towing such a unique trailer.

Re: Photothread: German Red Cross Vehicles
Sadly, my photo files (Dropbox & Seagate standalone hard drive) probably will not be functional until tomorrow or Sunday, but............
I think this is a Dutch combination with a 1937 Ford with a coachbuilt drivers cabin and probably a DAF surgeons trailer.
I think somewhere in my now missing photo files I have such a photo but will post a model of a similar trailer in model form with a Chevrolet prime mover below.

Very nice photo, Kerry.
Do you recognize the registration plate? Seems to be French or maybe Belgian/Dutch.
Certainly a US variant, not German.

I wasn't sure about the cab. It had the split windscreen but a slightly different profile and moulding than the standard Dearborn Ford. Thanks as always for the insight.

Re: Photothread: German Red Cross Vehicles
Hello Bill,
I am not sure about the 'plate. The form with French military vehicles was, normally, a letter followed by the tricolor then a number. This sequence was sometimes varied to tricolor, number, letter and sometimes just the tricolor and a number . It is possible that the white bar at the beginning of this 'plate is the central white bar of the tricolor. Dutch and Belgian are an area outside my knowledge, sadly.
Thanks for the comment,
Kerry

Re: Photothread: German Red Cross Vehicles
Belgian military number plates were of this type: 4 white digits only on black background. So for me the little medical Ford is ex-Belgian vehicle.
"...and on the 8th day He made truck so that man, made on 7th day, had shelter when woman threw him out for the night."
Re: Photothread: German Red Cross Vehicles
Sounds good to me, there is no mention in Vauvillier of this model being used.
