Really nice! Shame the scale is so small though :) Can't you do that with the 1/72 boat? :D

Dear C6,
Who makes a boat that scale? Wouldn't be over a yard/meter long? Granted, with 1/72 you could easily have U-Boatmen miniatures. I am partial to AFV kits in 1/35 so you can show the people too.

Thank you for your kind comments!

Unfortunately I sold this model to an english collector but it seems it got lost. We were able to track it as far as UK Customs (Langley HWDC), but it's been there for almost a month and no one can find it...

Anyway, take a look at this 1/72 hiper-detailed scale model:

http://thegreatcanadianmodelbuildersweb ... shion.html

It's the Revell kit with all kinds of aftermarket accessories, mostly CMK stuff.

Just don't sum up the costs, the final price should never be mentioned aloud : )

Dear TH-M2,

Revell produce U-Boat type VIIC and type VIIC/41 in 1:72 scale, they're about 93cm long. But they're small when compared with U.S. Gato Class Submarine 1:72 also from Revell which is about 1.31m long. But the longest submarine ever produced in styrene 1:72 scale gotta be the IJN I-53 from Lindberg which is over 1.50m long. I have them all and for type VIIC I have two. This is my second type VIIC w/ Gato Class submarine side by side:
