My 1/6th figures

Postby Dennis Redler on 02 Feb 2003 09:30

My hobby is customizing 1/6th action figures. Most utilize 21st Century Toys and Hasbro uniforms which are then improved by redyeing and adding buttons and trim. The insignias are leftovers from Dragon Models figure kits or or made by me.
This first group represents panzer uniforms of the Luftwaffe, SS and Heer.

This set shows uniforms that were painted with acrylics to achieve the cammo scheme.

Wow, they surely look nice. Did you make Von Stauffenberg, or did he come handicapped when you bought him 8)

Thanks korbius,
It was a normal figure when I started. I added the eye patch and removed the right forearm.

My 1/6th Figures

I got a few PM's from Forum members wondering where I got the idea for my Heer panzer officer with that unusual cammo jacket. The photo comes from the book"German Army Uniforms and Insignia 1933-1945" by Brian L. Davis.
Thanks everyone for your interest in,and nice comments about ,my hobby.
