More "finds" for the desktop wallpaper. Again, the originals are much larger ranging from 1600x1000 to 1920x1080 and larger for the most part. The images here are just 634x356, about one third or one quarter of the original size.

Re: Millitary Art as desktop wallpaper
Disaster struck last Sunday when my 1 yr old HD crashed. I'm on a new drive now but I have temporarilly lost access to a ton of stuff I had on my other drive for the time being. I managed to recover some of the wallpapers shown in the list above from the internet, but have lost some of the others pending data recovery by one of two services I'm considering. So with that, I managed to grab some new images for wallpaper use.

Hello
Nice art pictures
It is always a bad thing to Loose a harddrive. I always have my stuff on my computer AND on 2 pcs. of externe HD´s
But then again, I have about 85000+ Photos which I have taken during my many trips on the Atlanticwall during the last many years, so I can not afford to Loose them.
Regards

I was going to move things off to DVDs but never got around to it in time. My sincere advice is that you move all your photos off to DVD or USB stick or some other storage outside your computer and do it as soon as you can. I've been saving things on several cloud storage sites as of late. My preferred method would be to store them on DVD, but cloud storage is convenient. You'll be kicking yourself later if you procrastinate.

Re: Millitary Art as desktop wallpaper
A new batch of wallpapers. Some of these I had to Photoshop to recompose the image from a 4:3 or 5:4 square to a 16:9 or 16:10 widescreen format. I think they turned out well.

Re: Millitary Art as desktop wallpaper
It's been a while since I've shopped for any models. So I couldn't say for sure. I've got models dating back to the early seventies in my basement that I never finished or have never started. I normally like using prints and paintings for wallpapers, but sometimes a nice photo screams out "use me". That F4 photo is visually striking and I couldn't resist.
Here is another batch of wallpapers. I did some cropping and recomposing again to get some of them into a widescreen format:

Here's another batch. Two of these are obviously from the fantasy theme "Luftwaffe '46", where some of Germany's super-secret advanced aircraft have taken to the air in a prolonged war.

Love the Spitfire one, but think of the recent batches, my favourite so far is the battleship one in Post 22. Looks very dynamic.
