My 1/35th German armor models
Hi everyone
I'm Wouter and new to the forum. I'm quite interested in history, especially the German army an Waffen-SS during WWII. Since 2010 I started building 1/35th scale models, mainly German armor. I received a pm which suggested to post some of my work...well, think it's a good idea
So here goes:
]
these are some examples, some of them are based on existing pieces of armor, the JagdPanther is a 'what if' JP used as a Night Fighter.
My latest WIP is a beute Char B1 bis serving at the eastern front
(not sure why the forum 'cuts' my photos on the right side though
Hope you guys like it a bit ^^
Cheers
Wouter

Try resizing the picture a bit smaller . Should fit better . Pretty darn good . I wish my best was as nice as your worst one .

Nice looking work Chumpo!
The figures are really good and the king tiger camo is spot on.
You have been hiding your light under a very big bush fella.
Your DAK has a great colour, what did you use, it really is on the button.
Nice to see what you have been up to in the basement all this time.
hope your IV A is moving forward too.
Great work

Re: My 1/35th German armor models
Marcus, thanks mate, and thanks for solving the photo issue ^^
Chumpo, thanks for the tip fella. Glad you like them
Steve, errrm, thanks but I ain't chumpo . Regarding the DAK color: I assume you refer to the Panzer III? Well, it's actually a PzIII of the Das Reich Division during Operation Zitadelle. The basecolor which I used was Vallejo Dark Yellow. Afterwards I sprayed on highlights using Vallejo DY mixed with some white. Weathering seriously altered the colortone though.
Hi Ace, thanks a lot for that mate. Glad you like the weathering

It was a case of mistaken identity .
