Modifying Bf 109 E-3 to E-1 (1/72 scale)?
Modifying Bf 109 E-3 to E-1 (1/72 scale)?
I have some interesting decals for the Bf 109 E-1 in 1:72 scale as a spare which I would like to use but I have not found any kit on E-1 in 1/72 scale. I wonder how one could modify for example a Bf 109 E-3 kit (Tamiya or ICM) into E-1 variant? Would it be enough just to leave the wing cannons out and having just smallish holes for the machineguns in the wings? (to me this seems to be the most visible difference between E-1 and E-3).
