Had a beat up Spitfire, a Black Cat firecraker went into the cockpit, gasoline onto the fuselage, lit & threw it off a ladder. The streaming flame & smoke, then detonation were most satisfying tho brief.

I hada pape rmodel russian truck, a cardboard ruined building, and some paper figures. We put it in the fire pit, and dtrategically lit the top floor on fire. soon, there was nothing left.

My nephew and neice did that for me. They managed to destroy my Hawker Tempest, F4U Corsair and A6M2 Zero.

My friends and I would tie a length of cord from a top floor window to a post in the garden, we'd then attach some sort of hook to our condemned aircraft, apply lighter fuel and "flame on" then let them slide down the cord. Happy times :D

I had many failed attempts at military aircraft modelling before I got the hang of it and condemned them all to fire ...

I'm the firestarter , twisted firestarter :P

I ripped a prop off my Fw190A3 by pretending my P51B Mustang had shot it down and it hit a wall. I also ruined my Mustang by applying the decals badly. Also, I destroy my Army men constantly by stepping on them and breaking their guns/seperating their legs from their bodies :D

My model of the Messerschmitt Giant transport plane was attached to the ceiling above my bed. It looked great from below, but to get it to tilt forward rather than sit upright tail down it needed considerable weight so I used a lump of lead. One night I hear this creaking noise in the dark. A few seconds later down came the model plane lump of lead first straight into my forehead! I woke up with wreckage of the model all round me. What a way to be awoken from a deep sleep!

Update: My 190 now has only one prop blade left, the canopy won't stay on unless you hold it, and the tailwheel is gone :D My Mustang now has a horizontal tail surface missing and the prop nose, propeller and all, snapped off! :D I play with my models too much... Kolibri, I once thought of hanging my models. But my dad said it would just be too difficult. Now I'm thankful I didn't, from your story :D

BB Gun, fireworks... My favorite method for boats/ships was dropping lit Black Cats on them while they floated in the lil kiddie pool we had, it was awesome the Black Cats would sink a few inches below the surface, then KaBoom!! And lil geysers of water would spout up! Once blew the bottom out of a lil 3gal plastic bucket in my bedroom when I tried to make a bottle rocket powered sub! Oops!!

this is some of the funnest s*** i've ever heard. mad props to the thread thinker. the lesson, us military modelers are pyromaniacs!
reminds me of Jim Carey's first gig as Fire Marshall Bill on In Living Color. "LET ME SHOW YOU SOMETHING!"...........always ends in "UH OH, BOOM!"

I recently assembled my Airfix Dogfight Doubles Hawker Hurricane Mk IIb and Junkers Ju88A-4 set. I ruined the canopy of the Hurricane by over-painting it, and not to mention I'd detached some pieces from the sprue prior to painting/assembling them and they were lost. Also when applying the decals I ripped apart one of the decals that goes on the sides behind the canopy. On my Junkers I WAY over-glued all the windows and wings. I have yet to apply the decals for that one. I hope I do much better with the Panther Ausf. D and Churchill VII I recieved recently.
