Marcus,
I would like to add a signature to my posts, but I don't see an option for that in my profile modification page...am I missing it somehow? I read the FAQ page, but I don't see the option button anywhere... :?

Sir:

This week I received an totally inappropriate and offensive reply to my inquiry regarding Waffen-SS promotion ceremonies. The user name is fghfghse; the content was about the Canadian Pharmacy website selling Viagra, Cialis, etc.

Marcus,

First off let me compliment you on what is a very well run and informative site. My interest is with the Kriegsmarine since my father served there during the war on board Kreuzer Koln. Some years ago he had a reunion with the surviving crewmembers and came back with invaluable documents about the ship and crew. One intersting item he has is a copy of a log entry from Captain Strobel accounting an attack of the ship by British planes as it was anchored off Norway. The notes are excellent and very thorough from the beginning to the end of the attack. I was wondering would it be OK to post this in your site? It would certainly be one of your longer posts as the log is quite detailed. Give me your thoughts, I think some of the members may be intersted to read a first hand account of combat as from the captain himself.

p.s. my father was in the ship during the attack, he served below in boiler room number two.

Hi Nordsee

I think I can speak for Marcus, and we would welcome your Fathers log to be posted on the KM section within the AHF.

Kind Regards

I also have been looking forward to this with much anticipation. There is nothing better than detailed first-hand accounts of historical events.
