anyone have any info on "Blood and Honor: The History of the 12th SS Panzer Division". Due around September from Schiffer, it seems to be re-release of an old Bender title published around 1987, the author Craig W.H. Luther. Thanks in advance.

Could you please provide details on the original Bender as this would would seem to be the basis for the current book. As in what aspects does the Bender Title focus upon, pages, rough pic count? Thank you

Hi,

I saw it too on Amazon.It's not giving details on page and picture count but the original had some good photos.Personally out of the two i prefer Hubert Meyer's work The History of the 12 SS Panzer Division Hitlerjugend,mainly because it's got lots of eyewitness accounts in and the text is not bad either.I have the original JJF version but an editon is now available through Stackpole at a much cheaper price.
