Kurowski ===== I SHALL RETURN ???!!!

Now the publishing list of Nebel and Flechsig Verlag for first half of 2007 are known, which turn to be very disappointing. No reprint division histories, no worthy memories, only a few old low quality podzun bildband and ..... TONS OF KUROWSKI.

Especially Flechsig... One would wonder why they don't simply rename itself to " Franz Kurowski Verlag"......

I suppose the second-hand price on ebay would register some new records.... :cry:

Well, I must say I never know he had written those Officer biographies and "so war"s and jaegerasse book, and they are clearly shown as " 1st auflage" . It seems he wouldn't stop even now.

To the brighter side, I have heard FJ Korps Goring does contain some value (its price on ebay never below 30 euro) , and the book zwischen metz u. moskau perhaps worth its money though I cannot be sure.

As I once pointed out : he pays a bunch of young man writing "his" Stuff :lol:

Another point for a real "recherched" book :

Leutnant Kurt Knispel. Der erfolgreichste Panzerschütze und Panzerkommandant des 2. Weltkriegs

If I read the title I could spit my coffee out ! What a good damn BS 8O

Another fairy tale , produced by Evil-K , as none of the documents relating K.Knispels career at the Bundesarchiv are refering to a higher rank than Feldwebel !

Who buy this pure shit ? Leutnant Knispel , ts ....

Well, there is good news. At least I can save money by not buying them. But obviously someone buys them. Who? Who? I bought a couple early on and learned from my mistake... maybe everyone else does likewise. Never bought a Charles Whiting though. :D

Got the Knispel-book from a comrade this weekend at the annual Panzer-Archive-Meeting, just in short words: it is crap!

Over 50% of the pics have nothing to do with Knispel or sPzAbt. 503, more than 4/5 of the text has nothing to do with Knispel, even the "quotes" by Kurowski seem to be much doubtful, springing more out ouf K's phantasy than any kind of research!

As expected, a complete disappointment...

At least you didn't pay for it Jan-Hendrik! I think the only half-decent book I have of his is Deadlock Before Moscow (not sure of the German title), but it is a dozen years since I read it...
