I am sorry to announce the sad death of author and historian Bill Norman.
Bill was responsible for writing several books and articles about Luftwaffe
raids on the North of England. He will be most remembered for "Luftwaffe
Over the North', 'Broken Eagles' and '640 Halifax Squadron' as well as many
posts on this forum. He was a particular friend and researcher of KG2 and
was responsible for introducing the Luftwaffe pilot Willi Schludecker to
the UK and to the British pilot who shot him down.

I am sure you will agree that he will be sadly missed.
