The New American Militarism: How Americans Are Seduced By War by Andrew J. Bacevich PhD. Dr. Bacevich is a West Point graduate and served in Viet Nam. Like Gen. Petraeus he obtained his doctorate from Princeton University.

The book discusses how the US military has come to pervade American society and its affect on national security policy. The timeline covers World War I, the Wilsonian Era, to the near present day.

Hello, I just finished reading "George, Nicholas and Wilhelm". The books is about their relationship and family kinship, from childhood until the end of WW 1. Our of almost 500 pages, only about the last 100 are about WW 1. An easy to read book, and highly interesting as it goes into how family relationship and national politics sometimes affect each other. Harry

I learned alot from that Imad, Klein really did her homework. I really like that woman and hear she is highly regarded in her home country of Canada. She does what I call "real" journalism.

Yeah I agree Dan. She certainly knows her stuff. I think she's highly regarded outside Canada as well.
