"One Day In September" by Simon Reeve about the Munich Olympics massace of the Israeli team, very interesting book. I was very surprised to see how horribly the German 'specialists' performed their jobs and how organizationally wise they were so inept.

PLATO's BOOK

Postby ANDREES on 04 Jul 2004 14:23

EYTYXEITE!
Dear Fellows, I'm studying for another time in my life Plato's "THE STATE" (is wide known like "THE REPUBLIC" but this is wrong), 'cause it replyies to many modern political questions. I'm reading from a very old edition I keep with, like my "holy bible"... I special recomend it; it is a vade mecum for anybody likes to understand the "right to rule",i.e., the structure of a real welthy Society.
Kindest Regards!

Not reading anything special at the momment, just military history magazines but I am looking forward to get an old copy of Guderian's "Actung Panzer" which I recently ordered... My all times favourite reading though would be "We and the Franks" by Tsoforos, a very stimulating reading concerning the -not so- funny side of the Mediaval ages in Greece.
