I had gotten a copy of Speer at a yard sale, and was wondering how reliable is was. Google came up with this as a possible referance site.

I hit the wrong button. These old eyes aren't as good as they used to be. I Found this site from a Google search for Hermann Göring photographs. When I saw that this discussion board had a wide international following, I decided to join.

Found it when I searched "third reich" back then it was called the 3rd reich forum. I always thought it would have been cool if Marcus had called himself "fuehrer" and the mods the gestapo.

I am a historical wargamer and have searched multiple times for history pertaining to German armor and the 'Wiking' SS Division and this site has come up multiple times. I decided to join for its wealth of knowledge.

And I am glad I did. :milwink:

Just through google - I was looking at some stats for the Ferdinand tank destroyer, and its performance in Russia. A few links later - found this place. Looks really really good. !!!

I have made some comments on the Introduce Yourself Forum, but I would think that many people do not review that.. SO: Being from Germany, I have always been interested in the experimental aspects of weaponry and aircraft of Germany. They were so advanced, and I am trying to find out more about some developments that have not come to light yet. The other thing is: the song "Auf einem Seemannsgrab da blühen keine Rosen" It has to be one of the most touching military songs of that time. I sing it all the time but I was looking to hear it from someone that could sing it properly. I found it on YouTube.com. A guy named Ronny does it and what a voice.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3y-pUFc ... re=related In further searches, I found a reference to the Axis History Forum. What a delight to find. I am a member now and enjoy reading all the comments... Thank you Marcus for this outstanding site. john Sbiegaÿ

I was searching for information about my Great Uncle who was the Kapt. of U 502 and who's birth dates are the same.
Hello U-Boot Fans,

I am trying to gather as much information about my Great Uncle Kapt. Juergen Von Rosenstiel of U-502.
I was wondering if he ever did receive a Ritterkreuz even if it was Posthumously.
