William,

No, I will not be posting my home address here, I'm sure you can understand why.

Those interested can contact me via email or private message and I'll send it to them.

Marcus you are asking for support right. I am willing to make you the same deal I made Mr. Miller of A.B.R. if you are interested in it. Please contact me via e-mail since I don't have my idea copy righted at this time.

Actually, you don't haev to register to have something copyrighetd. This message is copyrighted to me because I write my name at the bottom!
The only thing you have to do to copyright something is to make it public with you name on it.
With trade marks, you have to either register it, or make it public. The trade mark need to be something special - it has to some design. If you start using it, it automatically becomes a registered trade mark until you stop using it - so Marcus 'third reich forum' banner, withthe helmet-oakleaves thing is a registered trae mark!

So no reason why you shouldn't publish it (if you feel comfortable doing so) - I'm sure you'll have 900 people backing you up on who was first!

If it is an invention as such, you ca of course patent it - but not if you publish it here! Contact your lawyer if you want to know more!

U R welcome - have to usre that business law I learned to sometihing :P

If it's an invention as such, you should get a patent asap - if it becomes known to the public, you can't get a patent. You should contact a lawyer if you do, as you'll have to send aplications to around the world (there are not central application centre), and there mustn't be too much time between the letters arrive...

Once again I say thank you for your advice. It is much needed and very welcomed. I would be willing to trade it for some SS-DAL's if Mr. Wendel cann't use it. I have spent about a 1000 hours worth of work on it. Its fairly cheap to make too. Thanks Ferdinand.

Marcus:

I have no problem with supporting this forum. It has given me great reading from very knowledgeable people and sometimes lots of laughs.
Please email address to me since I do not like to give out my card no. out of North America and prefer the send cash, but then you already know this!

I personally would never order a pin or t-shirt. My preference only but...... I would buy a CD with all the archives on it for my personal reference.
Could this be done? I mean the archives from day one if possible.
Plus I would pay more for this than a t-shirt. Just a thought and a suggeston.

CD-ROM

Postby Scott Smith on 15 Jul 2002 03:01

I think Annelie's idea of the complete forum archives on CD-ROM is excellent.

Also, I can't get Pay-Pal to work but I have contacted their customer service to see what the problem is.
:)

Yeah, they finally sent me my new password after I badgered them.
