Hello,

In their book about the W2, Rhode ad Sünkel mention a 70 cm Scheinwerfer. Does anyoe knows something about it ???
Maybe a mistake with 60 cm ?

That is actually a Kriegsmarine searchlight, model "G 150 K"
Looking for the following, original or copy, any language:

Renault FT-17 - Manual and parts list
Somua MCG5 - Manual
Panzer III or StuG III - Manual and parts list
8,8 cm Flak 36 - Parts list and electrical diagram
150 cm Scheinwerfer G150K - Manual

Thank you very much for your answer.....and sorry for delay... .

Therefore, the Kriegsmarine had also mobile searchlights, apart of those installed on warships. I suppose for coastal defence, no?
and it seems that these searchlights are different of those of Luftwaffe for AA defence.

See my question posted on this thread on 24 Nov 2009...
Here, the differences that I can see respect to 150 cm Flak-Sw 34-37 searchlights of Luftwaffe:

Red: side plate perfectly round and without a cut as in the Flak-Sw 34-37 searchlights
Black: pointer elevation data receiver and not a round lamp as in the Flak-Sw 34-37 searchlights
Blue: double hand wheel, not simple as in the Flak-Sw 34-37 searchlights
Apart, the naval G150K have a small lateral stair as you can see in my images posted on 09 Dec 2014
