Hi Sturm 78,
excuse me, please, that I didn´t answer earlier. But I´m looking on this part of the forum not so often.
first to Sturmboot 39: You are right, yes it is. But it got some modification: covering of the bow, stern and both sides and fixing a plank against overcoming water / waves. These modifications were made for the use on the sea. This boat could also be used for the training for "Seelöwe" ("sea lion"), the planned landing on the English coast 1940. Here a pic of such a Sturmboot (source: Waffen-Arsenal S - 45: "Sturmboote deutscher Pioniere 1934 - 1945").

Re: Pontoon Bridges and assault boats
Now to the next question with the pontoon (b.t.w. a very good and interesting pic):
it is a captured Czechoslovakian pontoon. This bridge building material got the designation "Brückengerät (t)". "t" is the German abbreviation for "tschechslovakisch". Here a pic of such a pontoon out of the book "Deutsche Pioniere 1939 - 1945".

Here, an image of Hungarian pontoons. Any idea about the model ?
