is a WWI vintage "female" british tank,

I have somewhere another angle of this pic, with russian soldiers, and a pic of this tank (not sure about being the same tank, but is a very high possibility..) in a berlin street just post WWI, during the revolts of the reischwer.

just be patient, with the scans Gewo

Amazing photos, thankyou for posting and sharing.

When walking these streets I could not help think of what took place
during that time but to see the photos I will be able to envision it all.

Hi there

with reference to the photos of Berlin, I to am looking such pictures. I notice that the photos that you posted were from "Corbis", and must be from a series. Do you know where I can get to see the rest of these photos? I have looked up the Corbis site, under vintage photos for Berlin, but these pictures do not exsist! It is photos for Berlin at the end of the war, and the months immediately after the war that I am after finding. Interestingly, the colour photo showing Berliner Dom [also from the Corbis series] shows a British WW1 tank in the foreground. Long before I found this picture, my father had told me that he remembered that there two such tanks in front of the musuem next to the Dom, but had no idea what had become of them after the war. After I visited Berlin last year, he asked me if they were still there. Alas, long gone, but he will be very interested to see the photo of the tanks in this Corbis picture. This is why I am trying to find more photos of Berlin.

I attach two other photos of the same tank that I found on a Russian site called "Ostpanzer" It is a Russian history forum, but I do not read or speak Russian. But I am certain that these photos are Berlin, taken looking away from the Dom, in the direction of Schlossbrucke, and Deutsches Historisches Museum

Unfortunatey I see that the images are small, I am sorry, but I do not know how to attach a larger image.

Please do let us know where you found the photos that you posted, and hopefully people will post more pictures as well.

Regards

Mark
