Hi,
I was made aware of this equipment on LEMB. It looks like a system for directional radio communication, but even with the help of Trenkle I cannot identify it. Can anyone help please.

Thanks Jos,
I fear it will be awhile before we have it identified. To me it looks like a version of a RV system.

Hi

Whilst browsing pre-war photos of De Panne I found this photo showing a mast/antenna resembling the one as shown in the photo posted by SES. I've already informed with the local gouvernment and as they recall well this antenna served in WW1. (more accurate info when the person who did the research returns from holliday)

In the foreground an emplacemente for a light antiaircraft .

Hi SES!

I think Massimo was talking about the FuMB 21 ("Pellworm"), positioned
at Capo-Noli.

Here's a picture I bought last year from Ebay. The seller sold also some
pictures from Savona, taken in off-duty time by the navy-soldier.

What is it on top of the Pellworm-Antenna?

Best wishes
Rolf

This picture is from the Luftwaffe Funkmessstellung Schlei.A Frisian Island in Holland.
No trace of information found from this antenna.Location: near 2 Ypsilon towers
It looks a lot like the first shown antenne. Cross diagonal small grid - high frequency -directional.
Has anybody any idea ?
Thx
Rene
