Weight Data patches on German vehicles - 1 door or 2?

Bit of a puzzler...

Sometime model companies miss out the German weight data patch that went on the doors of trucks and other vehicles. But on other occasions model manufacturers just include one decal!

Can someone explain this? Did they sometimes just apply this weight data to the driver's side door?
