Hi All
I keep coming across 1941 war diary references to "Bombs, S T" being issued to infantry. Is this a reference to a Smoke bomb/Smoke Grenade?
Does the S stand for Smoke?
And, what does the T stand for?
Thanks in advance

I think this is what you are referencing: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sticky_bombClintHardware wrote:Hi All

I think you must be right. After posting I found references at Kew about Sticky Bombs carried on a patrol with the 1st KRRC
Thanks for your help
