Third Reich signatures.
Re: Third Reich signatures.
Gentleman, I have posted these on another site (my thanks to Hucks who as ever has been a great help) and on a Flossenburg thread (thanks Tilman), I would very much like your thoughts on these signatures (circa 1942) Flossenburg KL,
So far we have, Buddensieg Ludwig and possibly Otto Broßmann (I believe the start of the signature is an "L"), the Stanortartz is none of the listed SS doctors, could it be Dr H Fischer-Hullstrung?
Many thanks, Paul

Re: Third Reich signatures.
With regards to the first one starting with a 'B' or 'L', the example seen above is a very commonly seen way that the initial letter 'B' was signed. See this example for Karl Burdach. Also look for signatures of Ernst-Günther Baade, Walter Behschnitt, Hans Baier (LW) and Karl-Franz Beushausen (LW) to name just a handful. It wasn't the only way people signed their surname when beginning with a B' of course but it is fairly common and hence why I believe it could be that of Otto Broßmann.

Re: Third Reich signatures.
Here is some pages from a soldbuch sadly with the units pages removed or the FP hidden, if anyone could have a look at the signatures it may point to the unit......we have Gemania regiment 1941...then Prinz Eugen 1942.......then Nord 1943, many thanks, Paul
Re: Third Reich signatures.
I hadn't read this thread lately.....but nobody needs to apologize to me for anything....we are all here to contribute and assist each other....sometimes we may be incorrect, misinformed, or come across alittle "curt" or "short tempered".... we all do our best, I sincerely believe....I mean and take no offense.....(speaking for myself!)
As "moderators" we have to deal with all kinds of "poster"....and have to cover a pretty broad spectrum. Not always easy, can be quite frustrating, and is alot of work sometimes....all for no personal gain and "at our own risk".... but certianly can be quite satisfing....for me, especially when someone posts something they had "no clue" about......(AK Gen'l's Tropical tunic, recent Italian lot, bronks stuff....)
I'll own up to my mistakes, and certianly don't pretend to know everything (almost!)....but I will "call'm as I see'm", never intending to be confrontational (unless continuely confronted)....
None of this is personal....."we" don't know your experiance or expertise, but do "pretty much" know (or have a good idear) about each others (here) specialities and character....if you "ALL READY KNOW" what you have or are asking about....(and refuse to listen no matter what!) you probably shouldn't ask! (Not directed at anyone...speaking in generalities).
Let's get back to signatures.....

Re: Third Reich signatures.
These are facsimiles rather than original signatures and not really unique ones, but just for the record. They all appeared in November 1939 newspapers.

And some more...
Re: Third Reich signatures.
If anybody is interested in Panzer Troop signatures I have just started a new post (Panzer Troops Autographs & Signatures 1942-1944 Visitor's Book) in the Axis Documents, Feldpost numbers, Postcards & Other Paper Items section.

Re: Third Reich signatures.
The first one might be that of Hugo Schimmel who was Rgt-Führer of Pz.Gren.Rgt GD around July 1944. I have that signature on a 1944 dated NKSiS GD related citation.
