Nazi 1941 Luftgau photograph album

Hello everyone,

New here so thank you in advance. I am trying to research a WW2 Nazi photograph album requisitioned after the war. It appears to document one group of soldiers mostly during Christmas of 1941. Some lovely people elsewhere have told me this much - it's a commemorative/souvenir album produced for the third Christmas of the War for 14 Company, Luftgau Nachrichten Regiment Belgium/Northern France, as translated from an inscription at the front of the album which appears to be signed by the commander at the time. I would love to know some more about this unit, or even regiment. Any information I can find is in German and does not translate so well.

I will attach some images and would also be interest if anyone can help identify/point out anything of interest from the photographs. The photographs show the unit at work, play (seemingly Christmas and Birthday celebrations) and also sadly funerals. There were a couple of more personal photographs of a young lad in uniform, with what appears to be his mother or another relative, towards the back... I'm presuming this is the original owner/creator and sadly his fate is unknown.

What has been mentioned already is that there are a number of British vehicles photographed, presumably leftover by the BEF! I would be grateful for any light which can be shed on any of the pictures or subject matter. I would love to find out more about the people in the photographs. I believe I am limited to the number of attachments per post so can attach more in a later post if desirable!

Thank you in advance.

In the first photo in the grave yard, the helmets look Italian to me, maybe Czech. Second line service men were sometimes issued with captured equipment such as helmets with consideration of which front the men were on, but I think this is unlikely here.

The officer on the right of the group of four officers in the photo also looks Italian.

My monitor cannot sharpen the photo.

The graves under the stone slabs look as though they are there to stay, maybe a commemeration rather than recent deaths?

Regards,
Chris.

Hello.

Looking again at home on my monitor, I'm not so sure the officer is Italian.

His buttons appear brighter and the shape of the cap is slightly different ...
