Hi all

How does this Ritter von Greim document and signature look? Both original?

Thanks
Charlie

Charlie,
The only blantant "red flag" I see is the spelling of "San.- Obergefreiten"..... from every referance/etc. the spelling should be "San.- Obergefreiter" (with an R)..?????... could be just a "typo" (error) or differant rank classification but does raise an eye-brow IMO. Basic document and printing, stamps, and signature "look" o.k.,....(Cross-overs/etc.) but I'm not an autograph or document specialist....would have to search for examples of RvG's autograph for comparison....there's a great autograph thread here.

Paper "looks" better quality than some, but being from Luftwaffe you'd expect that in mid-43, still.

That spelling is okay in this context. Whom he gave the medal? Dem Obergefreiten.
