Looking for help on totenkofp feldpost

#1

Post by wgt63 » 29 Aug 2014, 23:47

Need help with this totenkofp feldpost item. I couldn't find much on it online and would like to know any history on this item and the unit as well. I think that it is the 3rd SS Totenkofp Division, but not sure what the 15 stand for. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! William

Thank you. I have another feldpost stamp on it that I believe says "panzerabwehrleh?abteilung 4.kamp" with no feldpost number. The ? equals a letter that I'm not sure of, but possibly it is a "t". It was sent 31 Jan 1941 and I found in the return info "12 PZ Lehr Rgt" and the postmark is from Wunsdorf. I figured the 12th Panzer Division, but not able to pin down the feldpost stamp. I can add in a scan if needed.
