It's a fake. The rank listed says SS-Hauptsturmführer but the photo (which looks to be a modern print of an old photo) shows him as SS-Brigadeführer. There are a few of these available.
Here is another one (thread dated for 2011) that shows the ausweis with a yellow stamp instead of red...

Complete agreement.
But SS-Gruppenführer really.

I'm not being a wet blanket...but....

Should the buyer go back to the seller of this card, he now has the information he needs to manufacture a far more agreeable and realistic fake card.

I'm not making accusations against the poster of this thread, but it simply occurred to me that anyone wishing to improve on this card has just been handed the necessary information to achieve exactly that....

How would one put a stop to the information supplied by the very learned members of this forum being used at cross-purposes?

Just a question....no fingers pointed. Good luck getting your money back Sir, my sympathies are with you all the way.

Maybe you're right.
But find a Heydrich's picture with SS-Sturmhauptführer rank ( His correct SS rank in 1931 ), it's no easy.
Until that day, the perfect forgery it's not possible.
P.D: I apologize, if I give privileged information to the counterfeiters of SS cards. :)
