What do the forum members think of this Helmut Wick signature, I think it is genuine it compares quite well with other’s I have seen, it seems from the break in the ink flow of the signature that he was running low on ink, as Wick probably sat down and signed a few others at the same time? (There is another Wick Rohr signed card that is on the Wehrmacht forum that was probably signed at the same signing session.

Can anyone identify this signature please. I believe the individual was a senior SA member perhaps on the staff of the SA Leadership.
Many thanks

this post card sold yesterday on ebay for $ 427.00 amazing.
seller wrote:
" offer you a 100 % ORIGINAL color postcard by Heinrich Hoffmann who was Hitlers private photographer. The postcard image shows the yard with the terrace of Hitlers house at the Obersalzberg.

On the back of the card is the writing "With the best regard from the Obersalzberg" and altogether thirteen signatures. Please exactly view the first two signatures on the postcard !!!!! The first signature clearly reads "Johanna" and the second signature clearly reads "Eva". Both signatures are looking very similar to Hitler´s Chief secretary Johanna Wolf and his wife Eva Hitler-Braun.I have no proof of my supposition, but it is a fact that the signatures are looking similar anyway.

The card itself measures 5.8 x 4.3 inch and is in a good condition. The original third Reich card has the license no. 6219. On the back is the imprint "ZHouse Wachenfeld - country house of the German Reich Chancellor in Berchtesgaden (Obersalzberg)"
if any one can ID other signatures

Is this the signature of Hans von Salmuth?

In my opinion the inscription and signature on the postcard is not that of Johanna Wolf. I am also of the opinion that the 'Eva' signature is not that of Eva Braun.
Regarding the letter I am of the opinion that the signature is not that of von Salmuth.

Ian

For me, it doesn't look like "Salmuth" either, but whose signature should it be then? Hoth left AOK 17 just around that time, and Salmuth replaced him. Here is another order signed by the same person:

Doesn't I.V. mean in Vertretung?
So somebody else signed on behalf of von Salmuth. Still we don't know who...

Salmuth was "in Vertretung" of the new OB Ruoff, so this would fit. But I can't see a "L" or a "T" in the signature.

Thank you, so it was indeed his signature. Seems to have had a peculiar handwiriting.

And I personally don't think the 6th May 1942 signature is von Salmuth's/Perhaps a secretary trying gto copy it?

Here is another one - from 9th of May 1942, which looks like that one from 1944...

As they look a bit different from that one in initial askropp question, I don't like an idea of adjutant or another authorized person trying to "forge" a signature. They would rather use their own and put a note nearby.

Perhaps von Salmuth used a "full and proper" signature on important documents - that from 9th of May (T312 R695 - 819) was after 4 pages detailing operation "Fredericus".
