ZDF goes history again: "Tannbach - Schicksal eines Dorfes"

ZDF Television is now broadcasting the miniseries "Tannbach - Schicksal eines Dorfes" about a tiny village on the intra-german border between 1945 and 1952. The story is based on the real village of Mödlareuth that was separated for four decades and was sometimes called "Little Berlin". Considered by some commentators to be something like an inofficial sequel to "Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter", the first part showed the last days of the war and the beginning of the US and (later) Soviet occupation.

The three parts will be visible on ZDF Mediathek for several days after their respective broadcast, the first is here:
