Been discussed quite a few times before (but so also have been some of my threads).
Remarque again "All Quiet on the Western Front" (amongst so many other movies). Ah, that butterfly towards the end...

You're reffering to Stanley Kubrick's Paths of Glory.

Pearl Harbor. It has the best character developement, top class acting and gritty realistic battle scenes. It really was a refreshing change from the usual Hollywood glitz and glamour so often used to cover the true horrors and cost of war.............
sorry!

Hello Mr TSCrawford. I am this year turned 47. Also, I love classical old movies. I do have a collection of some 5000 or more old movies.

Erich Maria Remarque played Ernst Graebers ex-school professor in this movie. I seem to remember that his character was possibly half Jewish?

One other thing is that Thayer David excelled in the role of a Reichsleiter in this movie as well.

Rolf.
