Hi

I work on this project at Oxford University
http://www.europeana1914-1918.eu/en.
We assist colleagues in various countries that were belligerents during the Great War and hold open day 'road shows' to digitise memorabilia brought to the event by members of the public.

We were recently in Slovenia at the library in Nova Goriza and recorded many items that will be of interest to A-H group in particular. Our colleagues will also host an event in Ljubljana the results of which all will be able to view by visiting the above web site.

To those visiting northern Italy/Slovenia a trip to Kobarid (Caporetto) is a must, an excellent museum and next door is the Walk of Peace Centre...again well worth a visit.

The web page gives you just a small look at what is a very beautiful part of Europe....where many people speak English, so getting around is not a real problem.

Please contact me if you would like more information.
