Ok, here is the story.
Sixty years later, in 1913, the 'Neue Wiener Tageblatt' wrote, that in Vienna the last eyewitness of this attack is still alive. His Name: Tit. Fmlt d. R. Alexander von Alexander. He wrote the following lines to this newspaper.
'Der 18. Februar 1853 war ein schöner Tag. Ich war damals ein Schüler im St. Annenstift, ein Junge von neun Jahren und ging an der Hand meiner Gouvernante ...`(you can read his his statement here:

I think we can assume that the child on the left side is the later Fmlt. Alexander von Alexander and the woman behind is his governess.
