Help With Uniform

Although very familiar with WW1 and WW2 German unforms I am not familiar with Austro-Hungarian of the same periods and so am looking for some help. This came out of a local estate auction and appears completely untouched. That is - well used but otherwise untouched or altered. Was looking for some insight on unit/rank/vintage for this item. More to the stroy but prefer to take things one step at a time.

Thanks for your input! I am receiving so many conflicting opinions on vintage WW1 and pre-WW2 that I am wondering if you or anyone can refer me to a reference online or otherwise that covers the subject.

This is definitely WW2 or slightly before WW2 Hungarian.
