you can clearly see that the U-boat in question flies the German war ensign.
So, for more details about this particular U-boat (Austrian U-25) you should search for its original identity as German minelayer U-boat SM UC 13.
It was built by AG Weser shipyard in Bremen, Germany.
Its commander was Oberleutnant zur See Johannes Kirchner.

Some of the German U-boats from Deutsche U-Halbflottille/U-Flottille Pola, which was based in Pula (Pola) and Kotor (Cattaro), were flying Austro-Hungarian war enigns and had Austro-Hungarian codes assigned to them especially in the period before Italy declared war on Germany, in August 1916.
The book by Hermann Lorey, Der Krieg zur See 1914 - 1918. Der Krieg in den türkischen Gewässern. Band 1: Die Mittelmeer-Division, published in Berlin in 1928, explains that Austria-Hungary declined the German request to send its own U-boats to Dardanelles, so German U-boats from U-Halbflottille Pola were sent instead.
For on-line research, you can start with this article:

On the following link in Croatian language you can check which Austro-Hungarian U-boats were in fact German U-boats flying the Austro-Hungarian war ensign:
