unknown pin

Hello members, please could You help by identification of a unknown pin,that was in bunch of WW1 austro-ugrian pins, it looks like some technician unit sign, only KSP is to read on upper part. thanks for all help,Andy

Unfortunately, I have not seen this one before, but the motif is very similar to the machine gunner's cap badge. The MG badge consists of the conventional map symbol for machine gun units with a bolt through the middle. This one also consists of a unit symbol, which could be one of several things including Kavallerie. The "P" has me a bit stumped. Perhaps Kavallerie Schützen Patrouillen? Just thinking outloud. It's very interesting whatever it is.

Dear Andy,
Nicklaus is absolutely correct in his identification of this cap pin of the Austro-Hungarian troops in WW 1.
I have included a photograph showing both the more common machine-gunner's cap badge (circle) and that of the search light crew's cap badge (square).
