Nice pics Tom. Looks like Gavrilo exercised his veto power over the peace process. I wonder if Gav got to see the start of the war?

He did see the start, but not the finish. The judge couldn't sentence him to death because of the murderer's young age. Gav died of TB in prison towards the end of the war.

Note: Except for political propaganda purposes, it doesn't really matter whether business or labor is taxed. If business is taxed, there is less profits with which to pay labor. If labor is taxed, there is less cash available to purchase manufactured and consumer goods. The most efficient State use of tax revenue would be that which facilitates wealth creation while simultaneously increasing tax revenue. For example, the government-funded Hoover Dam facilitated wealth creation (in the form of electricity and agriculture) and simultaneously added to tax revenues.
