Hello,

I'm no expert for artillery pieces but this site https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oeffag_G says the early Oeffag G flying boats were equipped with a 66 mm D/20 cannon.

OTOH this site http://www.quarryhs.co.uk/cannon_pioneers.htm claims it was a 66 mm Skoda C95 L/18 cannon for marine operations.

Yet another sources (Desoye, 2000, p.137) describes the gun as 70 mm L/18 C95 marine landing cannon with an actual calibre of 66 mm.

The best description I've seen here http://www.wk2ammo.com/archive/index.php/t-2655.html

ciao
some picture about austrian 7cm

7cm L/20 M??? skoda
developed from a the landing gun 7cm L/18 M?? was built in 18 samples, some installed on airplanes for the anti ship fihting, then distributed to the army
shell wight 4kg
velocity 235 m/s

7cm L/30 M14 skoda
used on submarine, armured train and on truck.

7cm L/42 M98 skoda

7cm L/50 M12 skoda
anti ship and anti aircraft

7cm L/45 krupp
from italian source. muzzle velocity 900 m/s range 8000 m
So it was a mini-series of just 18 artillery pieces derived from the Skoda 70 mm L/18 C95 but a bit longer.

The varying designation is due to two reasons. Firstly the Austrian army used to round up the actual gun calibre to the next full centimeter so a muzzle width of 66 mm became a 7 cm cannon. https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/7cm_lodn% ... %C5%A0koda

Secondly D/20 and L/20 actually mean the same, the barrel is twenty times longer than the muzzle width. D is Czech (délka = length) and L is German (Länge = length).
