'Sappenpanzer' lozenge camoflauge?

Hey, I was wandering if the Germans ever painted their 'Sappenpanzer' body armor in the famous lozenge camoflauge, specified in the July 7th 1918 order for helmets, artillery, etc? I know body armor wasn't specifically mentioned in the order but I've seen photos of the camo aplied to other unmentioned things like MG ammunition containers and such. It seems like if it was metal and of use on the battlefield then they didn't have any problem painting it up! Plus, I read in the Osprey book "World War 1 Trench Warfare(2) 1916-1918" that they issued some 500,000 sets between 1916-1918,an even issued and improved version in 1918 with "a stop for the rifle butt and stowage hooks for equipment", so there must have been quite a few of these body armor sets floating around after July 7th. What do you think?
