I am curious if German naval enlisted men and petty officers were allow to become fighter pilots during World War I just like their counterparts in the German Imperial Air Service or was the German Naval Fighter Branch was restricted to officers only? :)

hi,

I'm not sure about "fighters" but there were enlisted men and petty officers as pilots, see the list of fatal accidents in this link (sorry, it's in German, scroll down)
