Has just been nominated as a good article so I'd better finish what I'd started.

Finished this which had been standing over for quite a while and incorporated a stub about a skirmish called Bafilo.

Hi,

Looking in 30 Corps WD for Jun 44 Op Martlet was in fact the first phase of Op Dauntless which was also going to have further phases involving all the Divisions of 30 Corps.

Regards

Tom

Ah thanks, that explains the different names. Is there a reference I can use?

One of the computer wizards has done a map of the area to the west of Caen which has helped make the operations comprehensible and he's doing one with the changes to the front line for Greenline-Pomegranate, which I hope will be ready soon. I managed to find a bit more for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Le_Mesnil-Patry too, which I added today. Did you know that the celebrated RAF raid on La Caine was a bit exaggerated? Apparently they got the location of the II SS Pz Corps HQ too, raided it twice and missed.

I've finally stopped procrastinating about Delville Wood and spent a couple of days tidying the old draft, which should be ready tomorrow.

I finished off La Bassee and started moving the overwritten stuff from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_to_the_Sea and managed to get a new page "1st Picardy" completely buggered up, trying to change a redirect and it got a B class by mistake.
