Topic title says it all. I am trying to assemble a list of recommended reading for English readers seeking to learn more about the battles of Verdun

I already have:-
  • Clayton, A,. Paths of Glory: The French Army 1914-18
Horne, A: The Price of Giory: Verdun 1916
Ousby, I The Road to Verdun
Holstein.C, Walking Verdun: A Guide to the Battlefield

Foley's book is one of the best expositions of the Great War I've read.

Der Weltkrieg 1914 bis 1918

might help too although online translations are rather adventurous....

archives.org is good for ex-copyright stuff too.
